Ola Wellness Acupuncture was founded by Jessica Carvajal, L.ac. Jessica Carvajal is a licensed and board-certified acupuncture physician and herbalist. Jessica’s interest in alternative healing began in her early 20’s. She was first introduced to Acupuncture as a last resort for an ongoing health issue. While skeptical at first, she was amazed at the progress she was able to make under the care of her acupuncturist. Since then she was an advocate for acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

She completed her training at Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (ATOM) graduating with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, and a certificate in Injection Therapy. Previous to attending ATOM, Jessica studied at Florida International University, graduating with a BA in Psychology. During schooling and post-graduation she has been working as a Herbalist at a Chinese herbal medicine shop. Upon licensing, Jessica continues learning through her apprenticeship with Dan Atchison-Nevel, founder of NSEV Healing.
